Eating More to Gain Muscle (part 2 of 2)

http://www.bromotravelindo.com

For faster muscle gain and growth, do workouts that include heavy weights. Be very patient and persistent. Some people tend to give up as frequent lifting of heavy weights can literally be a pain. If you are not accustomed to lifting weights, then it’s highly likely that you will feel soreness in your muscles. This is natural; in fact, this is one way your body is telling you that your muscles are growing, think of it as growing pains.

Weight lifting will promote muscle gain and as you eat more, the increased caloric intake will supply the boost your body will need to promote the growth of muscle tissues. When building muscle tissues, you will also be gaining strength. If you diet too much and not have the proper food intake while weight lifting, you will just lose muscle instead of your goal of building them. Doing free weight exercises in addition to lifting heavy weights will help in gaining muscle faster. Your body will be able to quickly respond in its process of building muscle.

So how much is eating more and yet not gaining body fat? That all depends on you, your body structure will determine this. A nutritionist will be able to determine how much calorie intake you will need in gaining muscle.

With a steady food intake specially developed for you and a proper workout, you will soon be able to develop the body you have always wanted and also gain the self confidence and pride that will make you feel a whole lot better about yourself.

Eating More to Gain Muscle (part 1 of 2)

That doesn’t sound right, does it? Most people go on strict diets when developing their body. A lot of us dream of having a healthy and great looking body. Some spend countless hours in the gym, and spend thousands of dollars on equipment just to gain muscles. Some people even have medicine cabinets lined up and filled to the brim with gain muscle medications and supplements. The fact is, a lot of these people find the process too tedious and too slow.

Going back to eating more for gaining muscle, this may sound incredulous to some as popular notion would have people cutting back on their food intake so that body fat will be diminished allowing muscles to be more pronounced. As there are more body fat covering the muscles, they are not able to fully expose all the cuts and lines that give the body muscle definition.

But we have to remember that as we cut off our calorie intake, you are not giving your muscles the proper nutrition it needs to help make them grow bigger. What you need to do is to increase your calorie intake if you want to gain weight, but this pertains to gaining weight because of muscle development, and not body fat. Ingest proteins and fats to provide your body all the calories it requires to gain muscle but be wary in ingesting too much calories because then the result would be the development of body fat.

This is where having a good workout routine comes in. As you do your regular workout, targeting the muscles which you want to develop, you will be able to burn all the calories you have ingested allowing it to go to your muscles to help them develop, and at the same time, avoid them into turning into body fat.

You Need an Agent to Look After Your Acting Career (part 2 of 2)

http://www.bromotravelindo.com

When an agent calls you on the phone, it doesn’t mean that they will already accept you as a client. It only means that they are inviting you for an interview and then see where things go from there.

The questions they will ask are similar to what a recruiter will ask you when you are applying for a job and when you reply, elaborate on it as thought you are telling a story. That way, they will know that you are very articulate and they can already think of ways of how to sell you to casting directors and producers whenever there is am upcoming movie or a new television show that is about to come out.

It wouldn’t hurt to also act in front of the agent a part you performed in the past so they can also get an idea of what is range.

If the agent likes you and wants to take you in, ask yourself if you feel the same way about the agent. Should the feelings be mutual then you have already found someone that can look out for your acting career. If you are not happy, don’t be afraid to decline their offer and look for someone else.

One thing you should remember when looking for a talent agent is that you are not required to give them any show money before they decide to represent you. If you are not happy with how your acting career is going, talk to them about what changes need to be made because your acting career is on the line here which may not mean anything to them if they represent other actors.

You Need an Agent to Look After Your Acting Career (part 1 of 2)

http://www.bromotravelindo.com

An agent is your representative. It is his or her responsibility to submit you for roles and auditions by casting directors which will soon become part of your acting career. Aside from that, they will also negotiate your fees and review your contract in exchange for 10% of your gross pay when you get the part. Since there are so many of them around, you have to know how to get one.

There are three ways to get an agent.

First, the agent is happy with your performance in the past and offers his or her services to be your agent. This won’t happen if you are just starting out so don’t put your hopes too much that someone will call you on the phone.

An agent may also see take notice of you during a scene night where you get invited to various scenes to show off your talent to agents, casting directors and directors. This is done regularly and consists of two minute monologues. Afterwards, you go around and give your press kits to the industry professionals who attended the event and wait for their phone call.

Second, you are given by a recommendation from a casting director, director, fellow actor or producer. This can happen if they like you and they see that you are not properly represented and deserve something better.

Lastly, you get a phone call from an agent after they have reviewed your photo and resume which you had sent through the mail. Majority of the actors starting out get it this way. This will change later on once you have already established yourself in the industry.

Fish Oil: The Quantity I should Take (part 2 of 2)

http://www.bromotravelindo.com

Probably one way of determining the amount of omega-3 you take also depends on your intake amount of omega-6 fatty acids. You can find omega-6 acids from common vegetable cooking oils like canola oil, soybean oil, corn oil and sunflower oil. These are present in a lot of food available in the supermarket, most especially the processed ones.

We need to balance the intake of omega-3 and omega-6 since the latter compete for enzymes with the former. And too much omega-6 could result to inflammation which can later affect the heart. The effects of omega-6 counters the benefits omega-3 gives the heart. According to some experts, having a ratio of 2 to 1, omega-6 to omega-3, would be the best combination to have. The ratio properly balances the effects of both essential fatty acids.

Other doctors recommend taking only a minimal quantity of say 2.5 grams per day or even lower depending on how much it will take to maintain your state of health. Taking too much might result to bodily imbalance which can become harmful to your overall health. However, if you have a certain disease or existing condition like, your doctors might prescribe you a stronger daily dosage of fish oil to help you cope and regain your health.

To sum up, the quantity of fish oil you should take depends on your state of health, diet, age, among other factors. Consulting your doctors would be the best move before starting on a daily intake of fish oil.

Fish Oil: The Quantity I should Take (part 1 of 2)

http://www.bromotravelindo.com

For people who came to know the health benefits of fish oil, the next question they ask is how much quantity does one take? Well, some would recommend at least 3.5 grams a day while others suggest a mere 2.5 grams of omega-3 fatty acids would be enough to get the whole health benefits of fish oil. To be on the safe side, it would be better to consult your doctor of nutritionist for the proper dosage of fish oil.

There are in fact a number of factors to consider. Take age for example. It has been found out that the needs of younger people for essential fatty acids are higher than the older folks. One of the possible reasons is the fact that young people are more active which makes their needs for essential fatty acids greater than old people who have gone on with their retirements.

However, this should not be misunderstood that older people do not need daily intake of fish oil. The dosage or amount only diminishes but the importance of taking fish oil does not. Nothing can stress this more than the studies that have been conducted in the past which shows that the healthy essential fatty acids in fish oil help reduce and prevent the inflammation of blood vessels which is linked to heart disease.

According to experts, the lack of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and the docoxahexaenoic acid (DHA) can result to depression and heart disease. And since EPA and DHA are the primary omega-3 fatty acids found in fish oil the significance of fish oil in one’s diet cannot and should not be undermined. Plus, our body cannot produce essential fatty acids so our only hope to get them is through an outside source. Only by eating fish rich in fats and oil or taking those commercially available fish oil supplement capsules does our body get the necessary supply of omega-3.

All About Bird Watching (part 1 of 2)

Bird watching  (birdwatching) or also known as birding is the observation and study of birds with the naked eye or with the use of binoculars.  Birding also includes the auditory component, since birds can be easily and readily detected using the ear than the eye.  Most people follow birdwatching as hobby.

Birdwatching can be traced back as early as the Victorian Era in Britain when the study of birds and natural history became fashionable.  Collectors would collect eggs, skins and feathers from different colonies.  But in the 1800s there was popular call for the protection of birds, this led to the observation on living birds.

Meanwhile in the United States,  as early as 1889 there is already a field guide written by Florence Bailey entitled Birds Through an Opera Glass.  In the early and mid-20th century, the focus of bird watching in the United States was in the eastern seaboard region.

Currently, not only are there local birdwatching guides, there are already global guides.  The availability of air travel enable hobbyist and serious birdwatchers to travel different places and observe wild birds in their natural habitat.  Birding can also be done in your own backyard or the local park.

Birding also includes taking precise note of the minute details that distinguish one specie from the others, and mastering the skills of identifying characteristics for documentation as well as contribution to the body of knowledge regarding winged creatures.  This means sitting for hours, frequently crouched and hidden in true bird watcher stance.
